Conrart Weller, better known as Conrad, is Yuri's closest adviser.

Conrad has long, brown hair, parted on the right side, with most of his bangs resting above his eyebrow. He wears a brown jacket with an orange trim, and matching pants.

Conrad is the most loyal to the Demon King, and has gone so far as to threaten the life of one of his friends in order to protect him. He calls Yuri "your majesty", something Yuri corrects him on.

Conrad is the second son of the former Demon Queen, Cecilie von Spitzweg. During the time that Stoffel occupied her throne, Conrad was close to Adalbert's fiancee, Julia, who was lost in the war with the humans.
When Yuri's soul was sent to Earth for protection, Conrad was assigned to insure it came to no harm. He first met with Yuri's father, then met Miko Shibuya as she was going into labor. He told her that her child's birth month, July, is called "Yuri" in his homeland. Miko named her son Yuri and made Conrad his godfather after that.

[edit] Season 1
After Yuri arrive sin their world, he is confronted by Adalbert, who awakens his power to understand their language. At that moment, Conrad comes riding up on horseback and fights Adalbert while Yuri is being carried by a flybone. Adalbert retreats and Conrad takes Yuri back to Gunter, who convinces Yuri to join them.[1]
In order to stop the war between demons and humans, Yuri must fight the demon sword and harness its power. Conrad and Wolfram follow him to Van Der Veer Island, where Yuri obtains the sword. In order to use its power, they had to feed it human life. Jozak enrolls Yuri is a gladiator-like competition, where he would have to fight a prisoner. Conrad tells Jozak that if he puts Yuri's life in danger again, he will kill him.[2]
They catch word that the demon flute, a precious item lost 20 years ago, has surfaced in Conansia Svelela. As he, Yuri, Wolfram and Gwendal travel, he and Wolfram are caught by a sand bear. They escape, just in time to break Gwendal out of prison and Yuri a woman's work camp.[3]

[edit] Swordsmanship
Being that Conrad cannot use magic, he has made up for it by becoming a master swordsman. He has been noted by Wolfram and Yuri to be the greatest swordsman in The Great Demon Kingdom.
