[edit] Appearance

Gwendal has a youthful appearance, that is, except for his hair. It is a light black, almost gray, and he keep it in a bun on the back of his head, and his bangs parted down the middle. He wears a green jacket and pants, and a white undershirt.

[edit] Personality

Yuri was scared of Gwendal at first, due to his scowl and glare. However, Gwendal has proved to be a good friend, and a loyal companion to Yuri.

He loves cute things, especially stuffed animals. He knits them on his own time, though the quality of them are questionable. One that was supposed to be a teddy bear had the snout of a pig.

[edit] Synopsis

[edit] Season 1

When Adalbert attempts to persuade Yuri to join him, but Yuri refuses, he decides to attack instead. Gwendal shows up in time to save Yuri, and capture one of Adalbert's men. Gwendal attempts to give him to the townspeople to deal with, but Yuri protects him, causing Yuri to be held hostage. Gwendal gives him his horse, as per their request, and the stallion kicks them both off. They arrest him once more, and Gwendal tells Yuri to stop meddling in their affairs, leading Yuri to want to become Demon King.

Later, Gwendal's uncle, Stoffel staged a coup by kidnapping Yuri. Gwendal is prepared to start a civil war, but Conrad saves Yuri in time, and he interrupts the battle. The Demon King surfaces and gives Gunter the opening to arrest Stoffel.[1]

After Yuri comes back from Japan, they learn of a man who is holding the demon flute, a sacred item in the Demon Kingdom. Gwendal agrees to go, but Conrad and Wolfram are taken by a sand bear on the way. He and Yuri meet a young woman who holds half of the demon flute, but they are arrested shortly after.[2]

Conrad and Wolfram escaped and broke Gwendal out of an esoteric stone prison. They find Yuri working in a woman's work camp and save him, too. There, they find the other half of the demon flute. Yuri plays it, which prevents all the villagers from following them.[3]

[edit] Abilities

[edit] Swordsmanship
